The Passion of the Journey into Wine - Enriquez Estate Wines
Dreams are great, but actions speak even more. Cecilia Enriquez took a chance and grasped on to the opportunity to what she calls her love.

By Positively Petaluma and Petaluma Wine contributor, David Sandri:
The wines from Enriquez Estate Wines speak volumes of what can be accomplished, all for the love of wine.
From a shared love of wine (especially Pinot Noir) and hard work ethic, Cecilia and her father, Eduardo, discovered the amazing Pinot that was being produced in the North Coast a little less than 10 years ago. While on a trip together (actually to go to Napa), a wrong turn led them to Sonoma County, and tasting some outstanding wines from this county, particularly ones from a vineyard in the Petaluma Gap.

Although she was based on the East Coast, Cecilia was looking for something different from the career in finance she was in. Challenged by her dad to put together a business plan once they had seen a vineyard they liked, and tasted some of the wine from it, she put together a plan to start a family winery. With her parents’ full blessing, and her plans and dreams now in front of her, Cecilia moved from the east coast, out to Petaluma, and what a journey it has been.
