Petaluma Bank Robbed By Suspect With Baby Face, Police Say
The bank robbery happened just before 11 a.m. Friday; police say the suspect may also be responsible for a bank robbery last month in Ukiah.
PETALUMA, CA — Police are on the lookout for Petaluma bank robbery suspect who was described as having a baby face. The bank robbery was reported at 10:59 a.m. Friday at Umpqua Bank, 201 Western Ave., Petaluma police Lt. Ron Klein said in a news release, noting that the same suspect — a white male in his late teens or early 20s — may be responsible for a bank robbery last month in Ukiah.
According to the lieutenant, a suspect described as young with a baby face, blond hair and a thin build entered the Petaluma Umpqua bank branch Friday and handed a teller a note that demanded large bills and had the words, "This is not a joke."
The robber did not display a gun or any other type of weapon, Klein said.

The suspect was further described as a clean-shaven young man who was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and a black baseball cap. The hat had a white square on it and he was also carrying a black backpack, Klein said.
