Petaluma Driver Arrested On Suspicion Of DUI After Backing Into Shop

A woman was arrested after police said her vehicle caused significant damage to a convenience store, police said.

PETALUMA, CA — A driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after she reportedly backed her vehicle into a convenience store Friday evening, police said.

The woman backed into Adobe Beverage and Deli at 1410 South McDowell Boulevard around 8 p.m., the Petaluma Police Department reported.

The crash inflicted significant damage to the business, police said.

Alana Wiltshire was arrested in connection with the crash.

"Wiltshire displayed objective signs of alcohol impairment. Wiltshire was placed under arrest for DUI," police said.
