Petaluma Footrace set for April 19
Calling all runners and walkers! Time is running out to register for the Petaluma Footrace.
The 11th running of the Petaluma Footrace is set for Sunday, April 19. 1,000 runners and walkers are expected to take part in the event, which features a 3 and 5-mile route starting at the Petaluma Marina. The course winds its way through the Alman Marsh and Shollenberger Park before returning to the Marina. This family-friendly foot race is open to all ages and ability levels and participants receive a commemorative CamelBak water bottle at the finish line, chip timing, well supported course with aid stations, vendor booths and more. Awards are given out to top runners in each 5-year age bracket.
Registration is available online at petalumafootrace.com or in person at Athletic Soles, 49 Petaluma Blvd N in Downtown Petaluma. Race day registration will be available if space permits.
The Petaluma Footrace benefits Mentor Me, a Petaluma based non-profit helping young people reach their highest potential by providing them with adult mentors and mentees so that mentorships will be sustained over time.
