Petaluma Hair Salon Robbed At Gunpoint: Police
The suspect wore a bright yellow construction jacket and pepper-sprayed salon employees before leaving, police said.
PETALUMA, CA — A Petaluma hair salon was robbed Wednesday night when a man wearing a yellow neon construction jacket with orange stripes forced employees to open the salon's safe at gunpoint, police said. The robbery was reported at 8:19 p.m. at Supercuts in the 300 block of South McDowell Boulevard, in the Washington Square Shopping Center.
The robber, described as a Hispanic man, pepper-sprayed the salon employees as he walked out of the business with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
Officers arrived within minutes and checked the area but did not find the robber.

Police were reviewing surveillance cameras in the area in their efforts to identify the robber, and did not immediately release any surveillance images of the suspect.
