Petaluma History-The Egg Capital of the World
Check out the 1932 Petaluma Egg Festival, where a chef from the City comes to town to make the world's largest omelette in the world's largest frying pan. He is assisted (actually they do all of the work) by official Petaluma and Sebastopol Egg Queens, with identifying sashes.
