Petaluma Police Dept. Suspends Some Services: Coronavirus
"To ensure dispatch is available for emergencies ... please limit your calls to those that require an immediate police response."
PETALUMA, CA — Amid a growing number of new coronavirus cases in Sonoma County and the region, the Petaluma Police Department on Monday temporarily suspended some of its services.
"While patrol activities remain normal, some of our front counter services have been temporarily suspended," the Petaluma Police Department said in a Nixle alert to the community.
The community is also asked to limit their calls to the Petaluma Police Department.

"To ensure dispatch is available for emergencies during this important time, please limit your calls to those that require an immediate police response," Petaluma PD said.
The request comes after Sonoma County officials reported over the weekend that two Sonoma County residents contracted coronavirus — COVID-19 — through community spread.
