#Petaluma’s William Prokop is the 2014 USA Weightlifting Boys U11 National Champion

Petaluman William Prokop, a Grant Elementary School student, is the 2014 USA Weightlifting boys U11 National Champion. William competed along with over 500 athletes and 302 coaches from across the United States in the national olympic weightlifting championships in Daytona Beach Florida. An annual event, the USA Weightlifting National Youth Championships and Youth Olympic Games Trials featured fierce competition among the elite of American youth weightlifting athletes, all of whom are age 17 or younger.
