Prowler Found Hiding On Roof, Arrested: Police
Residents had reported to police that a person was spotted attempting to break into cars and a home in their Petaluma neighborhood.

PETALUMA, CA – After being found Thursday night on a Petaluma roof, a 26-year-old man was arrested in connection with neighborhood reports of a prowler, the police said today.
Officers responded, along with a K-9 unit, around 10 p.m. to the Albert Way, McGregor Avenue and Colwood Drive area after receiving multiple calls from residents stating a male was seen trying to break into parked cars, plus one woman who reported someone attempted to enter her locked front door, the Petaluma Police Department said.
As police and the K-9 unit searched the area and backyards, a resident on the 1500 block of Colwood heard noises coming from a neighbor's roof, where Michael Fowler, of Petaluma, was found, police said.
