Kings of Mood: Mazzy Star to Appear at the Mystic
Will warm up for Coachella Festival with a Petaluma gig April 6
Alternative band Mazzy Star, known for their broodingly seductive sound, is coming to the Mystic Theater April 6, according to music news site SoundSpike. The group became famous when their song "Fade into You" became a hit in the mid-90s, earning them airtime on MTV, VH1 and on the radio.
The group will play Petaluma before moving on to gigs at Santa Cruz's Coconut Grove and the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco. But it will all be a warmup for the band's most anticipated performance--at Coachella Musical Festival, which kicks off April 13.
