Racing Suspected In Sonoma Mtn. Parkway Crash In Petaluma
"Witnesses described two vehicles racing prior to the collision," police said about the collision that closed the roadway for four hours.

PETALUMA, CA — Sonoma Mountain Parkway in Petaluma was closed for nearly four hours Thursday afternoon following a multi-vehicle injury crash, Petaluma police said. The collision happened at about 2:54 p.m. at Castle Drive. A helicopter was landing at the scene to transport an injured person to a hospital, police said.
Drivers were advised to use North McDowell Boulevard or Maria Drive to avoid the area.
Southbound traffic on Sonoma Mountain Parkway was closed at Rainier Drive until just before 7 p.m., police said.
