Robber Holds Up Petaluma See's Candies Store: Police

The suspect was described as a white man between 50 and 55 years old.

PETALUMA, CA — Police in Petaluma are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Friday at a candy store. Officers with the Petaluma Police Department responded Friday at 6:55 p.m. to See's Candies at 333 S. McDowell Blvd. on a report of an armed robbery that just occurred.

A store employee told police a suspect entered the business, pulled a gun from his backpack and demanded money from the employee. The suspect then fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police described the suspect as a white man, 50 to 55 years old and wearing a blue button-down shirt with a black shirt underneath, blue jeans and a blue baseball hat. He was also wearing a green backpack.

Numerous officers searched the area but did not locate the suspect.
