1 Killed In Car Crash Along Hwy 12 After Police Pursuit
Officers in Santa Rosa were attempting to pull the driver over for a traffic stop, police said. [Breaking]

SONOMA COUNTY, CA – One person died this morning in Santa Rosa when the vehicle they were crashed as it was being pursued by an officer, according to police.
Around 3:05 a.m., an officer tried to make a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle. When the driver failed to yield, a pursuit ensued, police said.
As the suspect vehicle was approaching the intersection of state Highway 12 and Fulton Road, the suspect vehicle crashed, according to police.

An occupant inside the vehicle was killed, although, it was not immediately clear if the victim was the car's driver.
The identity of the victim has not been released, pending notification of the victim's family.

Officers are continuing to investigate the incident, police said.
