Sawmill Fire: Huge Advances Overnight In Containment Of Sonoma Co. Blaze [LATEST]

SONOMA COUNTY, CA – Containment advanced overnight to 85 percent in the Sawmill Fire, a 1,500-acre blaze that broke out Sunday east of Cloverdale in Sonoma County, according to the latest update this morning from Cal Fire.
Firefighters at the scene today total 375, the agency said.
The Sawmill Fire began around 11 a.m. Sunday near Geysers and Geysers Resort roads, about 10 miles east of Cloverdale. All mandatory evacuation orders and road closures were lifted as of 6 p.m. Monday.

Two minor injuries were reported, but no structures were damaged, Cal Fire officials said.
The cause is under investigation.
