Santa Rosa Teacher's Aide Accused Of Lewd, Lascivious Acts With Child
Sage Fifield, 45, of Santa Rosa, was booked into Sonoma County jail and remained in custody with his bail set at $100,000.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — A teacher's aide at a Santa Rosa-area charter school was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of lewd and lascivious acts with a child.
Personnel at Village Charter School, 2590 Piner Road, called the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office shortly after 11 a.m. Wednesday and reported a student was a victim of inappropriate sexual conduct, sheriff's Sgt. Juan Valencia said Thursday in a news release.
The suspect was identified as 45-year-old Santa Rosa resident Sage Fifield, Valencia said.

"Deputies responded for the initial report and notified Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault detectives to conduct the investigation," Valencia said. "After a thorough investigation, detectives arrested Fifield for felony lewd and lascivious acts with a child."
Fifield was booked into Sonoma County jail late Wednesday night and remained in custody Thursday morning with his bail set at $100,000.

Fifield is scheduled to appear in court Friday afternoon.
"No additional information will be released to protect the identity of the victim," Valencia said. "If you believe your child was a victim of Fifield's, call the Sheriff's Office Domestic Violence Sexual Assault Unit at (707) 565-8290."
