Sean also studies with David Norris, a musician with the Santa Rosa Symphony orchestra. But Sean says he most admires Miles Davis and Herbie Hancock and recently tried his hand at jazz scat singing. He performed Duke Ellington’s Bli Blip with the Varsity Jazz Ensemble.

Two years ago, Sean sang the role of the Prince in Rogers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella at the Spreckles Performing Arts Center in Rohnert Park.

He is also studying tap dancing and plans to attend Tulane University in New Orleans. Not a surprising place for a talented trumpet player with big dreams.
