Small Plane Crashes Propeller On Approach To Petaluma Airport
A small aircraft hit its propellor on the landing strip during an approach to the Petaluma Municipal Airport on Saturday.

PETALUMA, CA — A small aircraft crashed its propellor during an attempted landing at Petaluma Municipal Airport Saturday afternoon, The Federal Aviation Administration told Patch.
The American Legend 3 Classic Cub landed at 4:10 p.m. and had just the pilot on board. No injuries were reported and there was minor damage to the plane, officials from the FAA said.
The FAA was still investigating the matter.

KRON4 reported that a gust of wind hit the plane and caused issues. When officials arrived, the aircraft had rolled over onto its wings.
