Smash-N-Grab Spree Logged Last Weekend In Petaluma
Eight vehicles were broken into and contents stolen, and two men in black Jetta may be responsible, police said.

In less than 24 hours between Friday and Saturday morning, burglars broke into eight vehicles to apparently steal property inside, police said.
In all cases, the burglars broke a window to gain access to the vehicle’s contents, which police said were in plain view.
Six of the thefts were in the northeast area of the city. One occurred near 41 Petaluma Blvd. North and another occurred at the Park and Ride on Lakeview Avenue near U.S. Highway 101.

Surveillance cameras show that two men in black clothing who are associated with a black Volkswagen Jetta were involved in the thefts, police said.
There could be more suspects.
