Sonoma County Teen Allegedly Takes Police On Pursuit
The case began around 1:42 a.m. when a police officer saw a motorcycle being driven without headlights.

PETALUMA, CA -- A Petaluma teenager was arrested on suspicion of reckless evading and a probation violation early Saturday morning, police said. Martin Gabriele Lawson, 18, was arrested in the 100 block of West Payran Street and booked into the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility, according to police.
The case began around 1:42 a.m. when a police officer saw a motorcycle being driven without headlights or a license plate in the area of Petaluma Boulevard North and East Washington Street, police said.
The officer put on his emergency lights to stop the motorcycle, but the driver drove away, heading westbound, according to police.

After a chase in which the motorcyclist ran more than one stop sign, ending up on Payran Street, the motorcyclist collided with a parked car, police said. He was thrown from the motorcycle onto the ground,
according to police.
The motorcyclist complained of pain, and the fire department was summoned and took him to Memorial Hospital, where he was treated for minor injuries, police said.

The motorcyclist was then arrested and booked into the detention facility, according to police.
