PETALUMA, CA – Santa Rosa Junior College's Petaluma Student Research Conference will be held next week, giving students early exposure to making conference presentations on the professional level. During the event set for Thursday, Dec. 6 at the Petaluma campus, students will present academic posters on both original research and literature reviews on a variety of topics, highlighting their research efforts.
The event — an interdisciplinary effort to promote student research, writing and presentation skills — runs from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Physical Fitness Center gymnasium.
The conference encourages student learning in areas such as communication, critical analysis and intercultural literacy and interaction.
