Stay Cool With Two Great Community Pools
The Petaluma Swim Center and Cavanagh Community Center pools are now open. Here's a sneak peak at what they offer.
Summer is here and the Petaluma Swim Center on East Washington has been open for an entire week.
The pool, at 900 E. Washington St., offers lap swimming, swim lessons and even aqua zumba classes.
Recreational swimming is available Monday through Thursday 3pm-7pm, Friday and Saturday 12:30pm-6pm and Sunday 12pm-4pm. Swim Lessons with SwimAmerica begin Monday, June 4 and are 10am-12:15pm Monday through Thursdays. For the full schedule, call 707-778-4410.

Don’t forget the Cavanagh Pool at 8 and G Sstreets. Cavanagh offers aqua fitness and therapy classes and zumba. The pool is open for recreational swimming Monday through Friday 1 to 4pm and weekends 12 to 4pm. For more information, call 707-778-4536
Cost at both pools is $5 general/$4 for seniors/$2 for youth. Swim pass cards are also available.
