
PETALUMA, CA -- A man was arrested early Monday morning for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol, according to the Santa Rosa Area California Highway Patrol.
The CHP said officers responded to reports of an overturned vehicle on northbound U.S. Highway 101 at Kastania Road shortly after 3 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers located an empty Jeep Patriot on its roof.

Officers searched the area and were able to locate the driver, 24-year-old Adam Begay, of Novato, lying on the embankment under the Kastania over crossing.
According to police, Begay showed signs of intoxication and was taken to the hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.

Begay was arrested and booked into the Sonoma County Jail on suspicion of DUI.
