SONOMA COUNTY, CA – A 60-year-old man was arrested Friday after allegedly leading officers on a small pursuit while driving under the influence of alcohol, according to Sebastopol police.

Police said officers were dispatched to northbound state Highway 116 near Bloomfield Road on reports of a driver driving "all over the road," swerving, and crossing double-yellow lines.

Officers eventually spotted the vehicle on North Main Street near Healdsburg Avenue, and turned on their emergency lights and sirens in an attempt to pull the erratic driver over.

The driver, Steven Price of Sebastopol, continued driving northbound, occasionally looking back at officers, and drove until he pulled into a driveway, later determined to be his residence.

Police said officers ordered Price out of his vehicle at gunpoint, and while initially compliant, Price got back into his vehicle and refused to listen to commands, taunting the officers to shoot him.

Officers were able to grab and subdue Price, who resisted, and arrested him without any further incident.

An investigation revealed that Price had allegedly been driving with a blood alcohol concentration of .25 percent, over three times the legal limit. Additionally, he was found to be on probation in Lake County for a
previous DUI conviction.

Price was booked into the Sonoma County Jail on suspicion of DUI, evading a Peace Officer, and resisting arrest.
