AT&T Donates $100k To Help Kincade Fire Relief
The telecommunications giant made a contribution to the California Fire Foundation, which is helping communities recover from the fire.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Telecommunications giant AT&T has donated $100,000 to the California Fire Foundation, which is helping Sonoma County communities recover from the devastating Kincade Fire.
"The Kincade Fire has caused major disruptions, severely damaged property and has upended lives," said Rhonda Johnson, president of AT&T California, in a news release. "AT&T is committed to supporting California’s first responders and our communities in this time of great need.”
The California Fire Foundation is a nonprofit that supports firefighters, families of fallen firefighters and their communities through emotional and financial assistance.

“The generous contribution from AT&T will help our foundation assist those affected by fire and natural disaster,” Brian K. Rice, chair of the California Fire Foundation, said in the release. “This will support our continued efforts to provide both immediate and long-term assistance to communities recovering from disaster.”
The Kincade Fire had burned 77,758 acres and destroyed at least 165 homes as of Friday morning, since breaking out the night of Oct. 23 near Geyserville.
