Taize

Taize services are candlelit services of contemplative chant and song offering participants an alternative worship experience.

Friday, May 6 at 7 p.m. in the Sanctuary

On the first Friday of every month, September through May, St. John’s Episcopal Church hosts a service of contemplative chant and silent meditation in the tradition of the ecumenical Christian community of Taizé in France, with live musical accompaniment. This is a wonderful way to share St. John’s with friends who might not attend a Sunday morning liturgy. A $10 donation is suggested, but any contribution is welcome.
