PETALUMA, CA — A Petaluma man was arrested on multiple charges early Wednesday after an officer saw him speeding and pulled him over, police said.
At 12 a.m. Wednesday, the officer was on routine patrol when he stopped the car in the 200 block of Garfield Drive. The officer noticed that the driver, later identified as Dylan Moore, displayed signs of alcohol impairment, Petaluma police said.
While Moore was being placed under arrest on suspicion of DUI, it is alleged that he was found in possession of a small amount of suspected cocaine.

In a search of his car, it is alleged officers found a loaded handgun on the driver's floorboard and 100 grams of cocaine. Further evidence found in the car suggested Moore had the cocaine for the purpose of selling it, police said.
Moore was booked into Sonoma County jail on suspicion of DUI, possession of a controlled substance for sale and possession of a loaded firearm, police said.
