Two Armed Robberies This Morning In Petaluma

Police released surveillance photos, seeking public's help in possible identification of the main suspect and a possible accomplice.

Two armed robberies, believed to be related, were reported this morning by the Petaluma Police Department.

At 5:28 a.m., an armed robbery occurred at Quik Stop at 1510 East Washington St., and at 6:19 a.m. police said the same suspect, or suspects, committed another armed robbery at Valero Gas Station at 910 Baywood Drive.

A gun was mentioned but not seen, police said. No details about what was stolen was disclosed.

Police released surveillance photos of the primary suspect and a secondary person of interest.

Suspect one was described as a white male in his 20s wearing a dark-colored, hooded sweatshirt with a white stripe and black sweatpants with a white stripe down the leg.

The person of interest, who police believe may be possibly associated with the suspect, was described as a Hispanic male in his 20s and wearing a Sharks baseball cap and a white and gray polo shirt, and carrying a backpack.

Police said the person of interest was seen within 60 seconds of the suspect committing the armed robbery.
