Valentine's Day 'Lewd Acts' At Local Movie Theater End Badly

Officers were called to a local theater where a man was reported to be "performing a lewd act in public:" Petaluma Police Department.

PETALUMA, CA — A 50-year-old Petaluma man was arrested Valentine's Day morning for "engaging in a lewd act in public" outside the Boulevard Cinema.

Police received a call at 11:01 a.m. reporting a man exposing himself and "self-pleasuring" in public, according to the Petaluma Police Department. Officers found the man and arrested him for performing a lewd act in public.

The man was on probation, police said. He was booked, fully clothed, into the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility.
