Vegetation Fire Burns West Of Petaluma
A fire in the area of Middle Two Rock Road was producing smoke visible from Petaluma.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — A vegetation fire burning west of Petaluma Thursday afternoon was producing smoke visible from the city, Petaluma police said in an advisory.
The fire was reported around 4:20 p.m. in the 3700 block of Middle Two Rock Road.
"Fire personnel is on scene of a fire, west of Petaluma, in the county jurisdiction," police said. "The city is being affected by smoke only."

As of 6 p.m., the fire was 2-3 acres in size, according to Rancho Adobe Fire District Capt. Jimmy Bernal.
"Units are still on scene but we released the air attack," Bernal told Patch.

Firefighters will remain on the scene to make sure the blaze is fully extinguished, he said.
