Volunteer Opportunity on Sat. Sept. 24th in support of the Alzheimer's Association

Come volunteer for 3 hours on Saturday Sept. 24th in support of the Alzheimer's Association

On Saturday Sept. 24th, there will be an opportunity to volunteer and earn scout hours. The 3rd Annual Car Show for a Cure is that day put on by Adobe House in Petaluma, a memory care community. 100% of the proceeds of this event go to support the Alzheimer’s Association

The event will be held for the public from 10:00am-3:pm at The Plaza North Shopping Center (near KMART) in Petaluma at 259b N. McDowell Blvd.

What is needed and what are the volunteer opportunities:
*Adults for car parking during set up (you are directing cars to their spots and not actually driving them)
*Others will be needed to be near the front of the shopping center to direct cars to the adults who will be parking them and waving to people passing by

You would only be needed from 8:00am-11:00am. After the 3 hour shift, feel free to enjoy the car show or go next door into the Friedman’s Shopping Center and support the Community Emergency Preparedness Fairr that Boy Scout Troop 9 is putting on.

Another volunteer opportunity is that people are needed to walk around to the patrons and offer them tickets for the 50/50 raffle. 100% of these proceeds go to support the Alzheimer’s Association.
