Looking for donations: Waugh School District has five special needs students who could REALLY use iPads. Some of our students qualify for help through programs. Sadly, some do NOT. And iPads in education make a difference. I know, I'm the mom of one of the lucky qualifiers.
iPads aid in everything from speech assistance to learning basic concepts to immediate rewards for children struggling with behavior challenges. The new iPads are coming out; here's a way to feel GREAT about buying a new one! Donate your old one to Waugh School District (Meadow or Corona Creek), get a tax write-off, help your fellow humans, make a kid's day a little easier, make a teacher's day more successful and generally accumulate some good Karma.
If you've got one, and you can donate it, please call the school and leave a message for the Special Education Coordinator.
And thank you.
