Woman Accused Of DUI After Allegedly Crashing Into Tree
A 40-year-old San Rafael woman was arrested Saturday in Petaluma on allegations of driving under the influence after crashing into a tree.
PETALUMA, CA — A 40-year-old San Rafael woman was arrested Saturday in Petaluma on allegations of driving under the influence after crashing into a tree.
The solo-vehicle collision was reported at about 11:40 a.m. at Old Redwood Highway and North McDowell Boulevard, according to the Petaluma Police Department.
The woman was not seriously injured and was standing next to her vehicle when police officers arrived.

The Police Department released an image of a Mini Cooper Clubman that had jumped a curb and come to rest near a tree that police said was struck.
The woman was checked for injuries at a hospital before being booked into Sonoma County Jail on allegations of DUI.

Police said she had a blood alcohol content of .32%, which is four times the legal limit.
