Woman Arrested In Suspected DUI Crash That Injured 3 Passengers from Sonoma County

BREAKING: The early morning accident was on Petaluma Hill Road near Rohnert Park. All four in car taken to Santa Rosa hospital.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA – A Humboldt County woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI early this morning after a vehicle crash that caused major injuries to two passengers in unincorporated Sonoma County near Rohnert Park, a California Highway Patrol officer said.

Sierra Alli, 21, of Arcata and formerly of Healdsburg, was driving a Volvo XC90 south on Petaluma Hill Road at Snyder Lane where it went off the road on a left curve and struck a tree around 12:30 a.m., CHP Officer Jon Sloat said.

Alli and her sister, a 22-year-old Healdsburg resident, were able to free themselves from the Volvo, Sloat said.

Two other passengers, a 19-year-old from Cloverdale and a 26-year-old from Rohnert Park, were extricated from the vehicle. They suffered injuries that are considered major but not life-threatening, Sloat said.

All four occupants were taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.

Alli appeared intoxicated and after an evaluation she was arrested on suspicion of DUI and booked into Sonoma County Jail, according to Sloat.
