3 People Shot in Oakland Monday Evening

Three people were shot in East Oakland this evening, police said.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 6500 block of Foothill Boulevard around 5:15 p.m., Oakland police Officer J. Moore said.

Witnesses directed officers to three male victims all found suffering from gunshot wounds, Moore said.

The victims were transported to a hospital for treatment.

No suspect information was immediately available this evening.
