AC Transit Routes Return to Normal After Protests in Oakland
Protestors took part in an "Umbrella March" protesting police brutality.

AC Transit reports that bus routes that were detoured in Oakland Thursday afternoon and evening due to protests planned in the downtown area have returned to normal service.
An “Umbrella March” protesting police brutality against African Americans under the slogan “Black Lives Matter” was scheduled to start at 4 p.m. in the area of 14th and Broadway, and a second march at 7 p.m. at the same location.
