The domestic violence occurred in July 2017 and February 2018 in Union City. In July 2017, the defendant became angry and started destroying items in the household. When Jane Doe went to record him to show him what he looked like when he was angry, the defendant took the phone from her and assaulted her. He slammed her head into the wall, picked her up and slammed her back into the kitchen table, and choked her. She went to the hospital to treat her injuries.
