The office of Alameda County Supervisor Keith Carson, who represents Piedmont, sent us this photo from a volunteer day, marking Earth Day, at Morcom Rose Garden near Grand Avenue, Oakland, over the weekend. The group includes Carson, Oakland Mayor Jean Quan and Oakland Council member Pat Kernighan.
