Join renowned instructor Iris Sandkühler this weekend for one of her most unique classes, Rin Thin Tin! An introduction to re-purposing decorative tins, this workshop includes valuable metalsmithing techniques that are applicable to precious metals. Topics included design weight (visual and literal), cutting, piercing, forming, finishing edges and safety. We will also focus on strategies for dealing with (existing) enamel paint and embossing. Although provided, please bring tins for possible discussion and use, plus beads for embellishment opportunities. Don’t forget your reading and/or safety glasses. No experience necessary.
