Catch the Holiday Spirit at PHS-PMS A Cappella Winter Concert

The a cappella choirs perform under the direction of Joseph Piazza.

The PHS and PMS December concert season has been in full swing, with the final December concert this Thursday night, Dec. 20, presented by the Piedmont Middle School and High School A Cappella Choirs. This concert will be held in the Alan Harvey Theater and begins at 7:30 p.m. The performance showcases five vocal ensembles comprising more than 140 students: the PMS A Cappella Choir, the PHS Beginning Men’s Choir, Beginning Women’s Choir, Advanced Choir and Chamber Choir.

The Piedmont High School Band and Orchestra students will be raising money for their May 2013 Heritage Festival Vancouver tour scholarship fund by selling homemade baked goodies at the concert. All baked goods will be sold for $1 each.

A donation of $5 for adults is suggested at the door (students and children are free) to help offset concert expenses.
