Update: Do You Recognize This Kia Sorento? CHP Needs Your Help
Breaking: The CHP has updated the vehicle it believes was involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash.

OAKLAND, CA — The California Highway Patrol has updated its information on the vehicle they are seeking in connection to a fatal collision Sunday morning on eastbound Interstate Highway 980 near the 27th Street on-ramp in Oakland.
Earlier, the CHP said it was looking for a 2016 Kia Sedona and distributed photos. Now, however, they say it is a different vehicle and have circulated a new photo.
The CHP reports on its Facebook page, "We are looking for a white 2016 Kia Sorento which may have been involved in a fatal collision early Sunday morning. The Kia we are looking for will have damage to the right front of the vehicle near the wheel well."

It happened around 2 a.m., according to CHP officials.
The victim, identified as 40-year-old Rodeo resident Steven Lee, was pronounced dead at the scene.

"If you see a vehicle matching the description above, please note the license plate and immediately contact the Oakland CHP office at (510) 450-3821 or CHP dispatch 24/7 at (707) 551-4100," the CHP asks.
