Double Homicide in Oakland Tuesday Night
The victims were gunned down in Cesar Chavez Park.
OAKLAND, CA — Police are investigating a double homicide that occurred late Tuesday night in Oakland.
According to a police spokeswoman, officers responded shortly after 11 p.m. to Cesar Chavez Park, near Foothill Boulevard and Harrington Avenue on reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located two men suffering from at least one gunshot wound each, and the two victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

No suspect information has been released at this time, and the names of the victims are being withheld until relatives have been notified.
