The Public Safety Committee, formed in February 2010, was created because of increased interest and concerns regarding the public safety in Piedmont.
This committee was formed to have open conversation between the police and fire department and residents and to discuss concerns. Some issues include:
- Awareness Programs
- Community Outreach
- Crime Reduction Strategies
- Disaster Preparedness
- Citizen Volunteers
- Communication between Community Leaders
- Grant Information
