PHS Freshman Celebrate I-Search Projects

> The PHS English Department for the 9th Grade class will be hosting an I-Search Celebration and Viewing on Wednesday, May 2 at 7pm in the PMS Multipurpose Room. Now in its 4th year, this event is organized by English Department Chair Beth Black and the PHS Parents Club.
>
> The projects are outstanding examples of what students are thinking about and how they share this information with others. These 15-30 page documents represent nine weeks of intense effort and learning about writing, researching skills, andreflection about the process. Students have also conducted interviews and site visits to show real life examples about their chosen topic.
>
> Come and explore research papers on wide-ranging topics like The Special Olympics, Car Restoration, Title 9, The Stock Market and The Effect of Technology on Music. These projects are meaningful works that deserve a larger audience than just the English classroom. The event is open to all interested students and their parents.
