Featuring The Shadow Puppet Workshop at Tehiyah Day School
Come join us! Everyone is welcome. This is a free event.
Join us for a special all school Open House at Tehiyah Day in El Cerrito on October 18th, 10 am to 12 pm. We have private bus service to and from El Cerrito, Oakland and Berkeley! Parents and children are invited to attend, explore our beautiful campus in the El Cerrito Hills, meet teachers and students, and learn more about our vibrant Jewish community.
Also featuring: “Spin Me a Shadow, Tell Me a Tale” Assembly Program and Workshop-
Discover the magical world of shadow puppetry with Daniel Barash of THE SHADOW PUPPET WORKSHOP. In this hands-on program, Daniel will perform shadow puppetry versions of best-loved Jewish folktales from around the world. Participants will then be invited to make their very own shadow puppets and view them behind the shadow screen before taking them home. Fun for all ages! Questions?
