Fire Damages 3 Story Oakland Apartment Building
The fire comes less than a week after another fire killed two men.
Firefighters knocked down a fire in a three-story West Oakland apartment building this afternoon, fire officials said.
The fire at 2551 San Pablo Ave. was reported at 3:34 p.m., according to the fire department. Firefighters had the fire knocked down by about 4 p.m. but were still checking to make sure the fire was entirely out.
