Firefighters Contain House Fire to One Bedroom
Fire officials said the blaze caused about $25,000 in damage.

Firefighters this afternoon in Oakland contained a one-alarm house fire to one bedroom, according to Oakland Fire Department officials. The fire was reported by firefighters on Twitter at 3:30 p.m. in the 1400 block of Auseon Avenue. No one was injured, Acting Battalion Chief Demond Simmons said. The fire was extinguished at about 3:45 p.m. and caused about $25,000 in damage, Simmons said.
