Firefighters Put Out Small Brush Fire Along I-980 (Video)

OAKLAND, CA - Firefighters put out a small brush fire off Interstate Highway 980 in Oakland this afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The fire was reported at about 3:30 p.m. near the 11th Street off-ramp to the highway.

Initially a tree was reported on fire that spread to nearby brush, CHP officials said. Oakland firefighters responded and put the fire out.
