The Yule Log broadcast has been a holiday classic since 1966 when WPIX in New York first aired it as a gift to viewers (the second version of the burning fireplace was filmed here in California in 1970). It is in that tradition that Piedmont Patch links to vintage footage of the yule log now.
Patch is proud to have covered critical debate this fall over the proposed development of Blair Park and forecasts for the school district's budget, to have highlighted some of the amazing people who live here and the accomplishments of Piedmont's student athletes and thespians. And as we take a break from all that, most of all, Patch is thankful to have been welcomed into the community by you.
