“Love: Inside and Out” is the theme of our upcoming spiritual retreat on Saturday, February 28th! This will be a wonderful day of refreshment and renewal at the Sequoia Lodge on Mountain Boulevard. Nestled in the Oakland hills, this lodge is the perfect secluded spot for rest, reflection, and spiritual growth in God’s Word.
The day will include uplifting music, Christian fellowship, and a rejuvenating look at God’s Word to rediscover our mission of “Reaching Up, Reaching In, and Reaching Out” in the love of Christ. Mike Winther, the Founder and President of the Institute for Principle Studies, will serve as our retreat leader for the day. Mike recently completed teaching his “Biblical Principles of Government” class at Zion for our congregation and the community. He is an engaging and truly thought-provoking teacher of God’s Word!
