Man, Woman at Birthday Party Among 3 Shot Wednesday
Both victims were taken to a hospital in stable condition, according to police.
OAKLAND, CA: Three people were shot in East Oakland on Wednesday, including a man and a woman who were attending a birthday party, police said. The shooting at the birthday party was reported at 7:35 p.m. in the 1900 block of 90th Avenue.
The man and woman shot there were taken to a hospital in stable condition, according to police. A little more than an hour later, at 8:45 p.m., police responded to another shooting in the 9700 block of A Street, less than a mile away. A man was wounded by gunfire there and taken to a hospital in stable condition, police said.
Police are not sure if the two shootings were related and have not identified any suspects. Anyone with information about them has been asked to contact the Oakland police felony assault unit at (510) 238-3426.
